Clean Energy Engagement

A dedicated work experience program focused on the clean energy sector offered to government school students from the City of Monash across industry, university and government organisations.

What is Clean Energy Engagement?

The Clean Energy Engagement (CEE) program provides students in Year 10 from Victorian Secondary Schools with week-long, hands-on work experience opportunities in the Clean Energy and Engineering sectors.

Placements are co-designed with our industry partners to provide students with a broad understanding of the range of career opportunities available in the industry. Students obtain the information and experience they need to make an informed decision about VCE subject choices and vocational and higher education pathways. Students are required to apply for placements of interest to them, including providing a short explanation as to why the placement is suitable for them. In this way, the program matches students with industry partners to maximise the benefits for both parties.

We are currently offering placements to Year 10 students in 2025, and the program will continue into 2026.
