Specialist Education
We partner with three Specialist Schools in the City of Monash to provide enriching and engaging experiences for their students.
Specialist Education Programs
Specialist school students participate in programs at Monash Tech School or at their own school. Programs are developed in collaboration with our specialist education partner school teachers to engage students in new technologies and design skills.
Through a range of technologies, students are able to develop digital literacy skills and begin to explore STEM concepts such as coding, product design, and biomimicry.
Specialist STEM Community of Practice
The Specialist STEM Community of Practice began in 2022 and has evolved to include schools from across Victoria. This Professional Development opportunity allows specialist school teachers to discuss problems of practice, celebrate successes and investigate new technologies for their classrooms.
Industry Immersions
Through partnerships with industry, we have delivered bespoke experiences, taking students directly to industry locations.
Collaboration between industry partners and our staff has enabled us to develop activities that meet students at their point of need, allowing students to explore the skills used within a particular industry sector.
Most notably, our partnerships with Level Crossing Removal Project, Rail Academy and Metro Tunnel HQ have seen our students explore the transportation industry in a range of different ways.
