We kickstarted our special needs engagements for 2019 with a day at Monash Special Development School (MSDS), delivering our ‘Practising Superhealth’ program with three classes of students.
This is the second time we have been hosted at our one of partner schools to deliver this program, with our first ever 'outreach' back in November 2018 at MSDS.
Students were able to experience working with various technologies such as the ALEX simulation aide model, Bee-Bot, Lego Boost truck, and microscopes, and getting creative with designing their own hospital.
Overall, the students had a wonderful time (as did the facilitators), and we look forward to further engagements with our special needs schools throughout the year.
