Australian International Airshow Student Delegation

Monash Tech School recently attended the Australian International Airshow, bringing our first-ever Space Industries Student Delegation to the Friday morning of the Corporate Trade Show.

The day kicked off with a bespoke tour of the corporate pavilions, focusing on space and defence industries, led by AMDA Foundation tour guides.

Students and teachers gained unique access to a number of global stakeholders, including the Australian Space Command, Bureau of Meteorology, BAE Systems, Marand, Nova Systems, Lockheed Martin and Airbus. Students visited the stands and enjoyed briefings from industry professionals that focused on innovation and technologies, industry forecasts and careers and pathways, both current and emerging.

Following the formal tour, students enjoyed the free time where they could explore outdoor stands and watch the aerial displays. Participating students also received an AMDA Foundation and MTS co-branded digital badge.
