Last week, Monash Tech School hosted five Year 10 students as part of our Clean Energy Engagement program, a bespoke week-long work experience program which introduces students to the clean energy sector and provides an opportunity to build future workforce ready skills.

Throughout the week, students toured the Alan Finkel Building for Technology and Design and Monash Innovation Labs, met with the team at The Smart Infrastructure Lab, and analysed the role AI will play in supporting the clean energy transition. Using a design thinking approach, students ideated, iterated, and developed their own program rotation inspired by the Monash University campus electrification project, which they pitched at the end of their placement.

We are grateful to Monash University Buildings and Property and the Smart Infrastructure Lab for their support, and look forward to supporting more students to access our Clean Energy Engagement Program.
